I was lucky enough to find Mckenzie Trim several years ago and wouldn't go anywhere else. Mckenzie always listens to my concerns and gives honest feedback when it comes to my hair. I get compliments all the time. My favorite part of getting my hair done is Mckenzie is so easy going and makes my appointment feel more like I am hanging out with a friend. The beginning
I'm Kelsey and I'm the founder of High Key Studios. I decided to join Cosmetology school in 2011 when I was only 16. I grew up in small town outside of Tallahassee but had dreams of serving a bigger community..
I've been a hairstylist in Tallahassee for over 10 years. I fell in love with the Midtown area and decided I wanted to open a studio-salon that caters to the busy, hardworking people of Tallahassee by offering a cozy laid-back luxury experience.
The reason behind it all
Over the years, I've had the chance to work in some incredible places here in Tallahassee, but something always felt like it was missing. It wasn't the skill the talent, or the quality- it was the one thing that, to me, truly matters: putting the clients first. I know how crazy life can get- between raising families, managing careers and just trying to keep up with everything. It's easy to put ourselves last, to forget that we deserve a moment to just breathe.

That's why I do what I do. I believe you deserve more than just a quick service or a rushed appointment. You deserve the best experience when you make the decision to take care of yourself. It's about more than just looking good; it's about feeling good, too.
